I don’t do bodycon. I don’t do bodycon because when I look at one of those charts, the charts that show you “your body shape” I don’t look like any of them. My body shape somewhat resembles a tube of toothpaste – after it’s been squeezed a bit. Up down and all lumpy. However I’ve kind of come to the conclusion that having lost quite a bit of weight and my body shape not changing (obviously it got smaller but my proportions are the same!) I must come to terms with it. So here I am in a bodycon. I instagramed a pic when I’d tried it on I was unsure if I should buy it or not but lots of lovely ladies said it looked good so I did and I’m pleased.
Dress - Shout - Houdshill shopping centre

What do you think of bodycon? Do you like to push yourself out of your fashion comfort zone?

DeleteGorgeous outfit, and I love a bargain!
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to push myself out of my fashion comfort zone over the past couple of months. Like trying to make my outfits more 'edgy' with blazers.
I have a body con-esque burgundy velvet dress, which I have recently posted about, it isn't really tight so I think it's quite flattering :)
xx
Will go check out your dress now I'm s huge fan of all things velvet. :]xx
DeleteDani you look amazing! That dress fits you perfectly and darling you don't resemble a tube of toothpaste - far from it xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Alice! I do feel a bit all round and up and down but I'm trying to wear what I want and not what I think I should wear, if you get what I mean x
DeleteI think you can and SHOULD do bodycon! you look great! I used to wear bodycon dresses with a baggy shirt or top over them pre pregnancy, now it's fairly clear the bump is a baby and not podge so if I can find one with space for a bump i'd probably go for it!
ReplyDeleteHaha yes you totally should, I mean your pregnent, i'm pretty sure that means you can wear and do what the hell you want xx
DeleteI LOVE that dress, it really suits you :)
