The gallery was situated under the pop up perfume shop and divided in to rooms/experiences. Each room/experience was inspired by a Perfume. It was like a maze of different sensations at one point you where in the dark walking down corridors with loud music and strange CCTV style images of yourself projected on to the walls, then you where in a beach hut with real sand, the a peep show style booth! It really made me thing about the story behind each perfume.
Out the back was the perfume bus which toured the UK a few months ago. Everything I the bus has such meaning it’s really mesmerising. I didn’t get chance to see the bus when it was on tour but I’d heard a lot about perfume paints which I managed to see, also perfumed bubbles and lots of other crazy wonderful things!

Sadly I live super far away from London and had to get back to visit my Grandma in hospital so I was only there for little over an hour. I did however managed to have a little sit down in the shop which is decked out beautifully!
I’m wearing: Coat – Topshop, Disco Pants – Glamorous UK, Scarf – H&M, Hat – Ebay, Boots – Primark and Bag – Boohoo.
The shop it’s self sells loads of limited edition thing and a huge range of hard to get hold of fragrances, sadly I was there before payday and couldn’t buy much, I did totally fall for the bottles with the original labels such as Ladyboy. I love the scent and already have it in the black bottle but there’s something so much more appealing about a bottle with a banana on it! I also got to sniff the infamous HQ fragrance. HQ smells incredible, you know the smell of lush....well it’s that in a bottle!
The Gallery is now closed but the Perfume pop up shop is still open – if you love perfume you should totally go and check it out, the limited edition bottles are so beautiful, I’m still hankering over a bottle of Ladyboy!
Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you packed a lot into one hour!!
Hope your grandma is still making progress?
My resolutions are all simple and to look after me...take my meds, use my puffer every day, etc. And I'm just thinking of it each day as opposed to going 'I'm gonna do this all year!' So, end of day 2 and I'm doing OK!!!
Z xx
Things are no better no worse! Trying to get on with things at the moment and avoid too much thinking xx
