I could write so much about this event because it was such a positive experience but I’ll try my best to condense it in to my personal highlights!
I arrived in Leeds really early and checked in to my Hotel, then met Kelly who I was sharing my room with. Kelly is beautiful and lovely and super fun and I’m really glad I found her to share a room with, we had a great night out and she was even really sweet to me the morning after! (more about that later.)
I arrived at the event in plenty of time because I was lucky enough to be modelling for simply be! I was greeted by Toni and Becky who had organised the event then I met the some of the other ladies and promptly striped off to try on my outfits! Rosie soon joined me and we decided to take the plunge and model underwear together with some of the other models, it was a great experience and I’ll be OOTD’ing my outfits over the next few weeks all the Simply be ladies where really nice and made the experience really fun. If you had told me a year ago I would be doing something like that I would have believed you! We also go are makeup done by Benefit, the girl noticed that my eyebrows where already “browzinged” on!
I loved that I got to meet so many bloggers, everyone was really friendly and the event flew by. I got to meet Laura who had recently started blogging and who I found during my 100 day challenge and I managed to have a quick chat with Mel who I’ve followed for ages.
I spent most of my time chatting to Rosie, Steph, and Sophie and playing in the photo booth which was so much fun. At the end of the event there was a raffle and I was lucky enough to win £50 to spend at Exciteclothing, I was so surprised and happy I’ve already spent in and my clothes are in the post.
After the event I went for a Nandos with Steph, sophie and Kelly. We had such a laugh and I’ve wanted to meet these ladies for ages. After food Kelly and I walked back to are hotel in the rain! We were so tiered I even got in my Pj’s and we sat on our bed reading slink and rummaging through are goodie bags.
Later on a gave Laura a ring to organise going out and we arranged to meet at nine, then after putting the phone down I looked at the time and realised we only had 20 minutes to get ready.
We managed it and made it to meet Laura almost on time. We has a great night and didn’t stop laughing honestly these girls are great fun. For the night out I wore on of the Dresses I modelled.
Sunday morning I woke up feeling awful. I actually thought I wouldn’t make it home. Kelly and laura where fine so I’m taking that night as proof that I can’t handle my drink AT ALL. But after a hug from Kelly and a trip to the chemist (try telling a chemist you need something to stop you being sick on the train whilst also trying to convince them you only had 3 drinks!)I made it home in one piece – Just. Huge thank you to Steph, Laura, Kelly and Rosie whose texts kept me alive on the train home! I’ve so much love for these ladies.
All in all an amazing weekend and I would love to meet up with these ladies again, my only regret is that I didn’t get to speak to everyone!
Well done and a huge thank you to Becky and Toni for the amazing event.
