OOTD: Charity Shop Chic #7

This is an outfit of the day from Wednesday. This whole not buying new clothes malarkey is making me a bit more inventive. Apart from the trust faux leather shorts which I pretty much live in the rest of this outfit is comprised of charity shop impulse buys which I hadn’t worn yet.

I have a tendency to bring something home and show it to my mum. My mum then says that its hideous and I don’t wear it for a few week, then I get it out wear it and she says she likes it and asks if she can borrow it. Is this a normal thing or isit just my mum ?

Today my outfit will consist of jeans and hoodie because I’m off the library to do some research for my latest writing assignment but then I’m racing back home to get changed in to something a bit more presentable because tonight I’m doing a reading at a book launch.  That in mind and with yesterday being world book day I have done my nails to suit the occasion.

World book night is coming up soon and I'm a world book night giver which means I have been allocated a number of books to distribute in my local area. Anyone else doing this?

  8. that top is something I'd never think of buying but it looks great as part of your outfit. I see from you Mum's view; stuff on the hanger can look really uninspiring but it's all about how you wear it.
Adore your belt and those shorts xx

Being a book giver sounds interesting - I haven't really heard much about World Book Day since in school when we got the free book tokens! I do love a good read though.
