Haul: winter warmers

This haul of joy was made possible over the past two weeks because of my brilliant boyfriend and mother donating money to the “Danielle has very little money and wants warm clothes” foundation.

Cardigans Primark £12 each. I really like the over sized slouchy style and the chunky knit of these cardigans and the only other cardigan I saw that I liked just as much was £45 from Miss Selfridge. I don’t think £12 is too bad but before finding these I picked up a different cardi and that was £18, £18 from Primark – what is the world coming too. I bet your sick of hearing people moan but I’m appalled I remember going in to Primark with £20 and coming out with a full bag. Coats seem to be around the £30 mark and Dresses £15. I know on the grand scheme of things this is still cheap but I can’t help feeling ripped off.
Itchy, Jazzy,Wool-esque Primark leggings £10. I’m pretty sure that aside from myself and my mother there are very few people who would sequel in delight at the sight of such an offensive item. However to me they scream out “come and your cold pale legs in my warmth.” I am happy to oblige. I am wearing them out today I will take photos. My OH will be seeing them and I have the feeling he will laugh at the sight of me however I will keep you informed.
Scrabble Dictionary The Works 99p. This will hopefully make scrabble games alot more harmonious and help us avoid the almost inevitable “scrabble rows” that seem to be a prominent feture of past games.
Eyelashes are on 3for2 in Boots and Superdrug. Mum bought two packs of individual lashes and I got to choose the free pair. That’s mother daughter love right there.
I have been trying to avoid RiverIsland because I want most things in stock at the moment.
Have you bought anything snuggly? What do you think of Primarks prices?

  1. I like the Cardi! I've not entered primark for months, maybe today's lunch break will take me there!

  2. I completely agree that Primark prices are ridiculous now! I even used to think £8 was pricey for a cardigan from there! I'd rather just go to H&M or New Look and invest a few more pounds than buy overpriced Primark goods. Although I want that cardigan! Haha xx

  4. The prices have def been creeping up, and like another poster said, i'd rather pay that little extra and get something longer lasting [and fairs better in the washer] from New Look/H&m/Forever 21. Saying that it's still a good place to head for accessories and the like. Oh and tights - always a good price to be had there x

  6. I'm considering getting some of my cosy clothes from Forever 21 this season as I've heard good things about F21. I'm just not sure about the sizing as I'll have to order online!

  8. I think we were all suckered into believing that the old Primark prices were acceptable when for a variety of reasons they really weren't. In the grand scheme of things it's still cheap, just not as cheap as we'd all like!
